Media is one of the best ways of informing people and prompting them to interact. Free and pluralistic media fosters good and honest governments and make development investments fruitful.
Using the media power, we want to identify areas of needs by reaching out and creating awareness, to convey our development programs to build partnership with the communities and other organizations that are working in the field. The program will also bridge information gaps and promotes cooperation with the government sectors, media institutions and donor/partner organizations.
The primary concerns of NEDA’s art and media programme is to establish and develop free, independent and responsible media in the province. Strengthen the services of NFDONLINE and establish constructive relationship between the media, community, and the civil society groups in the region.
NEDA will fully implement NFDONLINE's trainings/workshops for the local journalists, civil society members, and community artists.
Through NFDONLINE, NEDA will promote the effective use of the media for Environment, Education, Livestock, Health, peace building, human rights issues, democracy, and good governance in partnership with civil society actors and international organizations.
Using NFDONLINE platform , NEDA will determine community needs, and identifies relevant actors, and the necessary plans to address issues on media programs
